I Need to Report an Incident

If you have been physically or sexually abused, threatened with abuse, or stalked, please contact the Department of Public Safety or your local Police Department, immediately. 

If this is an Emergency: Dial 9-1-1 and you will be immediately connected to the appropriate Police agency for your location. 

Non-Emergency on-campus reporting: Dial 734-763-1131


The University strongly encourages the prompt reporting of sexual misconduct. The report may be made by:

  • A person who believes they experienced sexual misconduct ; or
  • A person who has information that sexual misconduct may have been committed by a University student or a participant in a University Program.

It is very important to recognize that once a complaint is brought forward to the University, an investigation into the complaint will proceed, regardless of the desires of the individual lodging the complaint.
